Once upon a time in Sarrazac...
This is how one could approach this small village, close to Martel, in the Lot region, coiled in complete harmony with nature in the small valley. A magical village, that could be a childs dream.
Warmly coloured stone-built houses sit peacefully around an old Roman church. The slate roofs are the proof of a region free of modern day problems. All this, not far from the Corrèze region.
A village of legends.

Very close by, the remains of the castle of Templiers relive its secret stories along with those of the castles of Croze, Chabannes and Muzat.

It is here that Chantal & Michel Guerby-Aussel continue a tradition, that has almost become a legend: the Aussel Hotel-Café, a well reputated place to eat, the trusted name of the “Bonne Famille”.
Here the country children still greet passer-bys with a polite "hello". The old fashioned frontage, with multiple charms, and the covered terrace reminds one of the past.
